These instructors, artists, and educators help bring Workshop to life through experiences that feel intentional, welcoming, and deeply rooted in community. From wellness and movement to art, play, and creative exploration, each offering is designed with care and aligned with the heart of Workshop.
To support consistency, quality, and sustainability, our class offerings are produced exclusively through our existing partner relationships. For those interested in hosting their own classes, meetings, or gatherings, Workshop is available as a space rental during select times.

Colleen Filippi is a Wantagh native, graphic designer, and mom of two boys, redefining her love for crafting and memory collecting. She's always loved collaging, ever since she was a little girl — but somewhere along the way, entering the corporate world, she lost that hands-on creative practice. After losing her job following the birth of her second son, she found herself craving something familiar, creative, and grounding. So she went back to her roots: cutting, pasting, playing, and letting go.

Elena Tyler is a certified personal trainer, women's health specialist, and mom of two dedicated to making postpartum wellness accessible to all moms. Inspired by her own journey, she helps women rebuild strength, confidence, and identity through safe movement and holistic support. Through Post-PINK and Philautia Coaching, Elena creates welcoming spaces where moms can feel strong, supported, and like themselves again.
Watercolor Workshop · Felting Workshop · Nature Art
A fine artist and art educator with 15 years of experience. With degrees from the Rhode Island School of Design and Adelphi University, her work has been featured in exhibitions and private collections nationwide. Passionate about both art and teaching, she's dedicated to bringing people together through creativity — watercolor, felting, or exploring nature.
Born and raised in Harlem, Jaison began studying music and dance at the Harlem School of the Arts and later majored in Vocal Performance at DePaul University. Influenced by hip hop, he's performed at major venues like MSG and Broadway Dance Center. In 2017 he founded Hip Hop Dance Kids in Rockville Centre, serving over 400 students and promoting confidence and growth through dance for all ages and abilities.
Tiny Songbirds is a cooperative music class for young children where parents and kids can sing, move, play instruments, and create musical moments together. Classes feature original lesson plans taught by licensed music educators and parents. Early-childhood music supports motor skills, language, emotional management, creativity, and self-confidence — and it's enjoyable for everyone.
A certified yoga instructor specializing in vinyasa, restorative, yin, and kids yoga, with a teaching style rooted in breath, awareness, and energy flow. Jamie also leads sourdough classes, sharing her passion for mindful living through movement, food, and sensory experiences that help students feel calm, grounded, and empowered.
A mom of four with a background in biology, fine art, and education. Jina started Traveling Art to combine creativity, learning, and play. She teaches Sensory Art for ages 18 months and up, Art Club for kids 5+, and The Art of STEAM, blending science and art in fun, hands-on ways. Sharing creativity with families is her dream job.
Kristen is an Illustrator and Graphic Designer in the Apparel industry with a background in Fine Art and a lifelong love of creating. She's a painter who is always exploring new crafts, and has been making things with her hands since she was a young girl. As a mom of two girls, creativity is a big part of her everyday life, and she loves sharing that joy with others.
Logan Neary is the founder and owner of Colbie's Cove — a creative company that provides all natural self care products with a focus on aromatherapy. Colbie's Cove crafts soaps, candles, oils, butters, balms and more, all derived from high quality natural ingredients and essential oils. Their products are inspired by the waters of the East Coast and crafted to promote physical and mental wellbeing.

Weaving Workshop
HR Professional, women's empowerment facilitator, and proud owner of Woven Intent. As founder of the nonprofit Empress Sports, her passion is helping people thrive in the sport of life. Through Woven Intent workshops, she introduces the therapeutic art of weaving — sharing her authentic journey of self-care and resilience to create meaningful impact.
A Reiki Master and certified sound healer, Laura turned to energy healing after experiencing postpartum depression and anxiety. Trained in Holy Fire Reiki, she helps others restore emotional and energetic balance. In 2024 she added sound healing to her practice, using its frequencies to promote relaxation, clear blockages, and restore harmony in body, mind, and spirit.
Louann's creative journey began the moment she was born, and for the past 10+ years, she's been passionately breathing new life into old treasures through upcycling, paper, and book art. As the owner of Once Again, a whimsical brand dedicated to upcycled home decor and all things paper, she loves inspiring others through her art. From hand-crafted paper flower arrangements to stunning book art and unique centerpieces, Louann's creations are a beautiful blend of imagination and sustainability.
An ASHA-certified, New York-licensed speech-language pathologist with over 10 years of experience supporting children with communication and feeding needs. Mary Ellen earned her Master's from NYU and has worked in early intervention, schools, clinics, and rehab centers. She founded Happy Nest to offer personalized, family-centered care.
Sammi brings an energetic, uplifting approach to every class she leads. She holds a bachelor's in Exercise Science from Adelphi University, where she also served as captain of the Adelphi Dance Team. A certified NASM personal trainer, she's passionate about empowering, high-energy classes that help participants build strength, confidence, and joy through movement.
Shelby is a wife, mother, grandmother, and intuitive Medium. From a young age, she felt emotions deeply and sensed unexplainable things, which led to anxiety. Healing through meditation, yoga, and Reiki helped her reconnect with her spiritual gifts. Now a certified medium through Mark Ireland and Helping Parents Heal, she is passionate about helping others connect with spirit or develop their own intuitive abilities.
With 23 years of experience teaching high school English, Vivian has taught AP Literature, AP Language, creative writing, and humanities. She focuses on creating engaging lessons that inspire students and foster a love for literature and writing. Vivian is a published poet and a wonderfully expressive human who brings a beautiful, calm setting to her classes.
